dbsn group have been established on the Sunshine Coast since 1981. We have always been and continue to be, committed to the growth and support of the local community.
ALEXANDRA HEADLAND SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB
Through the long time involvement of Directors Nigel Dobell and Andrew Buhk, dbsn group is an active supporter of the Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club.
The business supported World Iron Women Champion Kristy Munroe up until her retirement from elite level competition, including the Kellogs Nutri Grain Series and National and International competition. Kristy was, and still is, a marvellous ambassador for Surf Life Saving and the Sunshine Coast.
In 2006 the dbsn group also commenced support of the clubs surf boat rowers and were rewarded in 2007 with U19 and U23 crews achieving National Champion status at the Australian Championships in Perth. In 2009 crews again performed exceptionally with the club "A" grade crew representing Queensland in the Interstate Championships and the U19 crew making the National final, both held in Perth.
We also support the junior members by joining other local businesses to sponsor uniforms and equipment for our up coming lifesavers of the future. This is without doubt very satisfying to be supporting the future of Surf Life Saving. Nigel and Andrew both volunteer their time as coaches of the nipper group and work with the kids on a weekly basis.
At dbsn we see it essential to give back to the community which supports our business.
